goa prawns curry recipe
Goa Prawn Curry Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 500g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp tamarind paste
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped, to garnish
Instructions:
- In a pan, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add onions and fry until golden brown.
- Add garlic and ginger-garlic paste and fry for another minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Add green chilies, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin, coriander, tamarind paste, and salt.
- Stir in the prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the coconut milk and let the curry simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves. Enjoy!
